American Legion School Award and Essay Contest winners awarded on June 10, 2026 at St. Margaret School Narberth.
St. Margaret School Award
The American Legion School Award Program is designed to place emphasis on the development of the qualities of courage, honor, leadership, patriotism, scholarship and service in students, and consists of the Medallion and Certificate. This award is presented to a member of the graduation class of 2026.

St. Margaret Essay Contest
Each year Post 356 sponsors an essay contest for Memorial Day for the 7th and 8th grade classes at St. Margaret School. The topic selected by the Post Essay Committee this year was:
"It is the 250th Anniversary of our Nation, what does that mean to me."
First place---------Gold essay medal with certificate and $150
Addie Gannon 8th Grade
Second place----Silver essay medal with certificate and $100.
Wyatt Addis 7th Grade
Third place-------Bronze essay medal with certificate and $50.
Izzy Sciarra 8th Grade
